heading out for some drunken karaoke after an afternoon of board games. not really giving a damn about cute boys this weekend (for once) kind of a relief, tbh. they were out in droves at the coffeeshop all week, starting their med school rotations and being all coyly flirtatious...but it's been a weekend of board games and reading and cooking with friends - forgot how much i needed to recharge my batteries until i got the opportunity. have a wondrous evening, boys. spring is here and things are looking up.

i never really thought about this until just now but i came out january 2001 - i don't remember the exact day, but wow, nine years?

it's actually not the exact day, but the same weekend, so i'm just pretending like it's the same day

So old. Came out the summer of '98 and probably could/should've done so a year or two earlier.

gayz, hope you've been well. my house got robbed and my computer got stolen this weekend. real bummer city.

Ides of March were rough on a lot of people, it sounds. My condo building's roof leaked and caused a major crisis in one of the units (not mine, but still distressing since it's our collective building, et al).

one of my regular sources of income dried up last week and i need to find a new one SIGH. (yes this is a HINT to anyone who may happen upon this post.) freelancing takes the piss sometimes.

I wrote a paper on Showgirls last spring and lost it (v agonizing!) and then JUST FOUND IT AGAIN TWO DAYS AGO!!! It was on a thumb drive I'd left at my mother's house. I am excited beyond belief.
