Holy. Shit. It just occured to me that this week is MY last week of classes too. Whoa; this whole graduating thing has yet to hit me.

So I'm only doing this whole NYC internship thing for another two weeks. Joe and Morbs and Ramz we MUST do some sort of thing between May 3 and May 13 because the train fare is going to go up to $26 roundtrip and I will probably almost never come to the city anymore :(

lots of stuff happening with the gay bars in pvd these days. the most notable being that wh33ls, the former hustlers-and-cocaine dive, has been remodeled and reopened under new management (and new name). the formerly non-descript, blacked-out facade has been replaced with full-height windows looking onto the street, which struck me as interesting -- i realized none of the other gay places here have windows! at least not at street level. most have no signage at all. so i wonder if this is signals local gays getting over the need for 'discretion' (or if it signals anything at all).

haven't been inside yet but i would guess the old painted concrete floor has been overlaid with tasteful hardwood. the cheap beer is probably gone too.

well there is one other gay place that has windows, but it's a gay-owned/-friendly restaurant, and the curtains are usually drawn on those windows even.

so the guy i met, i thought he had washed his hands of me for some reason, and then out of the blue tonight he texts me and wants to kick it, so i'm gonna go over there, and now i'm super nervi, and i was making this big dinner/dessert w/ my roommate and now i've totally lost my appetite, which is what usually happens here, even tho me & this kid are cool & had a dope time last time
