It is. I have a first name. I also have a middle name. I used to go by my middle name. Now I go by my first name.

The name R0dney comes from my dad, and he is way more badass than Al Jarreau imo.

I'm good. I went to this thrift store called Plato's Closet and I got two v nice shirts and I knew a few ppl who worked there, so they gave me 20% off. And now I'm sitting in my room listening to Mouse on Mars and attempting to "clean" it. I'm not doing a very good job.

i'm "dj"-ing a fundraiser/pool party for the flag football league on saturday. my first time! i have 1 turntable, a portable cd player, a mixer, and my bookshelf system for speakers. fade out, press start, fade in, lol. i have a limited supply of records, mostly disco, a few odds and ends, and this soulbeat 8lp comp that's pretty rad. hope they like ten city!

They do ads on rhythmic radio with Valley Girl voiceovers in Seattle.

Plato's Closet is in Deptford, NJ. One is a fitted v. light denim button down, onto the back of which I am going to sew this patch of Bea Arthur someone in Philly silkscreened. The other one is a lovely purple and orange plaid flannel. $20.80 for them both! Yeah I can't stop w/ the Mouse on mars, it's ridic. I didn't even know Plato's Closet was a chain!

How is it that I can't even meet up with one person in a city with one of the largest gay populations in the US.

The best thing that I ever did was just go to low-key gay pubs and just sit down and talk to people whether I liked them or not.

Man, when my bf and I broke up I went to California and had some crazy awesome fun times with some absolute Malibu stereotype replete w/ film producer stepdad's house which had floor-to-ceiling windows looking into the Pacific, and then I get back to NYC, which is SO GAY, and I have no luck. Like I'm always on the verge only to be left with frustrating nothingness.
