I did the crassest thing ever last night that was completely out of character. Tapped cute guy at bar on shoulder, asked what he was drinking, bought him one, shortly thereafter gave him my number. That's it. Didn't really talk to him (let alone have any sort of conversation), didn't try to dance with him, etc. Woke up this morning and was all EW WHY WD I DO THAT??, like what am I banking on, I THINK YR CUET SO YOU SHD WANT TO CALL ME RITE?????

Went to a fag party tonight: good music, better food and wine, but no one I could talk to besides the straight couple who invited me. Ugh.

My friend and I drove out into some shitty suburb whilst blasting Prince records and watching fireworks.

Had fun tonight when the duo visiting my 'hood from NYC finally unleashed their antipathy for the Midwest, which they'd been sitting on for the last five days.

Didn't help that we went to one of St. Paul's two (sad) (underpopulated) gay bars.

i got extraordinarily drunk yesterday afternoon, passed out for two hours, went to m4tt's roof to watch fireworks, had very good and very emotional conversation, passed out by like 10:30? uh, anyway, yeah, things are good.

Tried to get J out there, but he had other plans. Went to karoake with Clay's gf and sang "Sensual Seduction". Ended up crashing out on her couch with her (totally adorbs) cat snuggled up to me.
