GOD BLESS boys in tight jeans (and girls too).

S!monB!rch (Carey), Tuesday, 30 November 2004 22:50 (nineteen years ago) link

It's probably a pain in the ass to wear boxers with those pants, maybe that is the real problem in today's modern era.

Allyzay Science Explosion (allyzay), Wednesday, 1 December 2004 01:29 (nineteen years ago) link

Tight pants are a little hardon the boys.

the music mole (colin s barrow), Wednesday, 1 December 2004 01:31 (nineteen years ago) link

Tight leather pants, male rock star style - they must have the leather specially stretched on one side or the other, and this eliminates the problem. Myself, I dress to the left.

the music mole (colin s barrow), Wednesday, 1 December 2004 01:33 (nineteen years ago) link

Honestly I just think that a lot of the rock stars sporting these pants don't really have much of a package.

Allyzay Science Explosion (allyzay), Wednesday, 1 December 2004 01:34 (nineteen years ago) link

OTOH I'd also say that about the boys in the subway sporting pants so huge they're falling off their asses, so maybe it's just that I assume the worst.

yeah, basically pants that fit too snug around the waist or thigh are gonna make yr boxers crawl into bellybutton territory, at the end of a workday you have the elastic well up above your beltline and you find yourself taking a trip to the bathroom just to push everything back into place, it's a fucking hassle.

TOMBOT, Wednesday, 1 December 2004 03:21 (nineteen years ago) link

WHO SAYS BOYS IN TIGHT PANTS WEAR UNDERWEAR?? Iggy's pants always seemed pretty tight and his dick was big enough. Time Life's Mysteries of the Unknown...

S!monB!rch (Carey), Wednesday, 1 December 2004 03:28 (nineteen years ago) link

too long of a thread and I imagine halfway down it descends into perviness so I'll just add my two cents to the initially raised questions:

-heels, classic without a doubt.

-heels with jeans, not so. Very 2003 and def. frat-ish. I'm loving pointy-toed kitten-heels or flats with jeans right now.

-I defintely find thongs more comfortable than briefs and if you find the right size and proper fit "wedgies" are not a problem. Also since you can get liners/pads in thong style (not to mention tampons) periods are not an issue. (who has periods anymore anyway? Sooo 2002.)

Re Iggy: Jewish rock star in leather = no need for cucumber down pants, but abundant need for leather stretching prior to wear.

the music mole (colin s barrow), Wednesday, 1 December 2004 04:15 (nineteen years ago) link

seriously how hard is it to just not wear underwear.

Allyzay Science Explosion (allyzay), Wednesday, 1 December 2004 07:14 (nineteen years ago) link

do you just mean 'non-flared', like regular old 501s? cos they are good, much better than flared jeans. though you risk benig though to look silly, I think.

tapered are cut to fit tightly down through the ankle. the anti-flare, as opposed to the wonderful straight-leg cut which is more like non-flared. as silly as they often look, i can't bring myself to hate tapered jeans because they are the polar opposite of flares and flares = the grossness.

you can see the gunt and moose knuckle on that picture rosemary posted.

Big Baby Bingo (Chris V), Wednesday, 1 December 2004 11:17 (nineteen years ago) link

If you don't wear underwear the outline is even more apparent, especially when, unsupported, it falls down one trouser leg.

The Ghost of Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 1 December 2004 18:35 (nineteen years ago) link

Almost every pair of jeans I own fits me like the jeans in Allyzay's post. I have two pairs of boot-cut ones and I trip over them all the damn time.

That look is popular with middle-aged Republican women in Texas, the model just needs bigger hair and some gaudy jewelry.

Yeah, me too.

Allyzay Science Explosion (allyzay), Wednesday, 1 December 2004 21:58 (nineteen years ago) link

i don't usually like them, but with jeans?

gabbneb (gabbneb), Wednesday, 1 December 2004 22:04 (nineteen years ago) link

She should be wearing white sneakers, white socks and a sweatshirt, and have permed and higlighted hair 'cause that's what I associate with tapered jeans.

tokyo rosemary (rosemary), Wednesday, 1 December 2004 22:07 (nineteen years ago) link

Those Victoria's Secret jeans models are all stuck in a Whitesnake video.

Je4nne ƒury (Jeanne Fury), Wednesday, 1 December 2004 22:23 (nineteen years ago) link

jeanne, OTM. i also think the desert backdrop makes it even more whitesnakey.

maria tessa sciarrino (theoreticalgirl), Wednesday, 1 December 2004 22:30 (nineteen years ago) link

You've got to strike a pose and hold it
You got stuck in a Whitesnake video
And you can't get out of it
Don't say that Coverdale has lost it
You gat stuck in a Whitesnake video
And you can't get out of it

StanM, Thursday, 1 November 2007 19:22 (sixteen years ago) link

I live v close to a subway station. Half the sidewalks are covered in subway grills. But girls wearing heels can't walk on subway grills. So they have to walk on the wrong side of the sidewalk. So everyone not wearing heels has to weave back and forth between the the people who can walk on the right side of the sidewalk and the people who can't. Funk that.
