I worked most of the day, then went to a rather wild bbq with Clay & his gf, where I got totally wasted. At some point a guy started walking around with a pig claw sticking out of his fly. Tried to get J out there, but he had other plans. Went to karoake with Clay's gf and sang "Sensual Seduction". Ended up crashing out on her couch with her (totally adorbs) cat snuggled up to me.

Can't help but feel hugely crestfallen today. I've sort of been in vacation/party mode for the last nine days.

I think both versions are junk, but at least the first one had Mitchum smashing an egg on his chest.

The good scenes in the remake are De Niro laughing in the movie theater, and the one in the playhouse. Otherwise, Friday the 13th.

Speaking of Juliette I just bought Kalifornia on DVD; I have not seen it since I was about ten and completely forget most of it other than A) that I really liked it and B) Juliette whining.
