yep, LA. I kind of have to make a decision about this soon, which is stressing me out.

Stressing me out in a different way is 24yo actor who is supposed to be on 30rock next year. He is fun and cute and likes me but being an ACTOR, he is both charming and obnoxious at the same time. I feel like I'm too old to get into anything when I know there's no real future, but he's a hard person to turn down. And then there's added thing of possibly leaving soon, so I don't know how much time I should actually invest. Though I realize that sounds like whining, and I know it's a totally cushy fun problem to have.

My dad's cousin (which I guess makes him my cousin once removed?) is. Finally brought his boyfriend to our annual family reunion last summer.

Gay....family members? I don't think I have those. There's the one cousin who always strikes me as kinda dykey (female basketball player etc) but she usually has a bf. I guess the closest is my aunt's gay friend who used to come to our christmas gatherings, but I haven't seen him in years.

I did meet a girl I shared a v. obvious mutual interest with a couple weeks before I moved to Portland and it really sucked when it could have been v awesome under only slightly different circumstances.

I've gone through this too, with more than one straight friend! I think after a while I just realized that I am inclined to have tender feelings for the people in my life, and that I may have been mistaking my platonic love for sexual attraction. After a while the attraction sort of fell away.

^I'm with this, so much. The realization came with getting older, basically. Although it still affects me day-to-day, like "Why can't I find a guy as good as [straight guy friend]?" Though it's more comical than upsetting now, since I don't actually want to be w/ any of my friends.

We've all gone through this, yes? So buck up, jordan. I know it stinks but echoing other sentiments, you are way cute and funny and smart and some guy will be lucky to have you.

Looooove salmon. I cook a terrific broiled salmon marinated in soy sauce, dijon mustard, half a teaspoon of olive oil, and dill. Then I sprinkle capers.

don't think there's any fish or seafood that i don't love, but salmon's definitely near the top. will eat it done any way, in sushi, as gravadlax, honey roasted, anything.
