Yes they did. Luckily for badger watchers they are creatures of habit and turn up about 11pm every night. That night had the added advantage of bright moonlight (as you can see even on my crappy phone pic).

my boss is egging on my sketch too much, i want to make it weird but not terrifying, he is going for the horror jugular, but in the end i am confident the entire sketch won't scare the kids.
i borrowed as many masks as possible for the sketch, needing a generic weird animal mask for a dream sequence, and on the way back combined the owl face mask with the rabbit. couldn't stop laughing in the lift. love my job.
