i actually have never sung karaoke in a bar just at house parties. i tend to do "wichita lineman" or the tamperer's "feel it" because i like to sing the chimney line. my preferred song would be sinatra's "french foreign legion" but i've never found it on the machine thing.

I did "I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues" and The Killers' "Human" at karaoke a few weeks ago.

I don't see the point of karaoke if you don't know the script -- it's like acting. Staring frozen at the monitor -- like these lame chicks singing "Hot Summer Nights" and "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" for the first time -- is beyond offensive.

yeah but the worst thing about Karaoke is the people who do it all the time and are really good at it. I'd rather see a frozen chick than some Karaoke expert.

picking a karaoke song is prolly like deciding on a tattoo, it has to declare something definite abt you and i'm not ready for that kind of commitment. also i dont want to sing in front of ppl
