The passing of slurs on Facebook by men who should know better (i.e. thirtysomething guys) is irritating as fuck. To register his disapproval of our local film critic's review of "The Expendables," this buddy of my cousin's wrote: "dude, um, considering the rumors regarding miss [MALE LOCAL FILM CRITIC], i'd say he's smoking more than a pipe, if you catch my drift..."

I tossed back: "I smoke that pipe too, and passing insinuations is none of your business, unless you like the tobacco in that pipe too."

Yo, so I went to this bar and sat next to this guy who was rly cute, and he started talking to me and we told each other abt ourselves, and he seemed geuninely interested and flirty and laughed at my jokes, etc., and then bought me a drink, and at one point when I left to pee and came back he drunkenly/adorably jokingly said something like "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE".

And then that was it; he just ignored me for the rest of the night and hooked up with like six other guys. What. the fuck. Like, seriously, the whole thing lasted maybe 10 or 20 minutes. Who does this????

I'm feeling like a nostalgic old pervert because, via various facebook run-ins, I have re-connected with people from my old summer camp where, at the age of 12, I figured out I was gay because of how I felt about my fellow campers and *this* particular camp counselor:

On "New Wave Day" (a day when all in the camp were supposed to dress up in punk/new wave outfits in order to eat lunch in the cafeteria) he saw my depressed look and said "hey bud, you look like you could use a Cool Stripe"- and proceeded to run a line of scotch tape across the bridge of my nose in order to give me a low-budget "Adam Ant" face makeup look. But since I sat on his lap while he applied this particular bit of faggy decoration, it was sweet torture. Okay, just had to share with y'all.
