Then big name celebrities like Rock Hudson had to have highly publicized sham relationships in order to keep his career going. Today Highly publicized celebrities like Lindsay Lohan need to have highly publicized sham relationships in order to keep her career going.

Well, I don't really know or care what's up with Lohan/Ronson, but if it's just a sham relationship for publicity's sake then it's not a very good one, she probably gets less press coverage now than before she 'came out.'
