haha what it comes to when i get messages faster thru ilx than on my phone, which is...on the other side of the room somewhere, and on silent
sadly i'm ill this weekend - just a cold but you really don't want me sneezing all over you today. however i'd be up for some weekday brunch this week?
― لوووووووووووووووووووول (lex pretend), Sunday, 5 September 2010 09:54 (fourteen years ago) link
LOL, figured your phone was on silent. We should go for HIGH TEA at Dean Street Townhouse instead because I am obsessed with it. Have things every day this week (I know!!) except for Friday but on Tuesday things might work out - have editor lunch the next day and have to wait in until 5 for a delivery.
(oh hai ILX, welcome to my schedule)
― maintenant avec plus de fromage (suzy), Sunday, 5 September 2010 10:01 (fourteen years ago) link
my phone's always on silent! or vibrate, amounts to the same thing at home. texts get noticed quicker as it flashes when they come in. sadly, twitter/email works quickest unless i am genuinely incommunicado.
i've never been to dean st townhouse so YES, definitely up for that. tues will work for me if it works for you, if not raincheck until a quieter and less ill week...
― لوووووووووووووووووووول (lex pretend), Sunday, 5 September 2010 10:05 (fourteen years ago) link
This is a plan. Delivery should take place before 5, so we must do this. They MAKE THEIR OWN SCOTCH EGGS http://www.deanstreettownhouse.com/dining-room/High-Tea/

Who are these people? Is the person on the left Mel Gibson? The guy on the right looks like the current King of Sweden when he was younger.
Who's Michael Jackson hanging with?
― Tuomas, Sunday, 5 September 2010 19:45 (fourteen years ago) link
Hold on, the guy in the last pic is the Aerosmith dude, right?
― Tuomas, Sunday, 5 September 2010 19:50 (fourteen years ago) link

Keith Richard, Hall & Oates, Ron WoodTina Turner, Mick Jagger, Madonna, Bob Dylan

― StanM, Sunday, 5 September 2010 19:57 (fourteen years ago) link
OK from top to bottom:
Tina and RS + Madonna, Bob Dylan and Hall and Oates
Cohen and Taylor Swift
Pete Townsend top R and Eric Clapton and no clue about the others
I do not think the clown is supposed to be famous
Lou Reed, Bob Dylan and Tom Pettey - no clue about dude on right
Guy to M Jackson's right is Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. I don't know about the others.

Thanks! I had no idea who Cherie Currie or Steve Rubell were, I just thought it's just MJ and Tyler with some random people. And Hall & Oates is just a name to me, I didn't know what they look like. I guess I should've recognized Madonna, but she looks kinda unfamiliar in that pic.

That's Lou Reed, and sitting next to him it Bob Dylan. Seated in front of them is Tom Petty, and...
