guys, i've settled into my new place. also, this past sunday, i saw CHAKA KHAN at Oakland Pride. totally epic: everyone from 75 year old african american grandmas to young latino twinks SINGING ALONG and just JAMMING OUT SO HARD. it was the closest to a religious experience i've had in a while. made me really...uh...proud to live in Oakland?

Yo guys so a few ppl on Grindr have actually asked me if I bb or play safe, and I'm just like WAT????? Like, are there ACTUALLY people who go around making a conscious decision to bareback???? I though it was just some fucking stupid thing people did in the heat of the moment/on meth/etc, and not some sort of thing that they, like, EMBRACE. Do they already have STDs, or do they just not care, or do they think that STDs somehow don't apply to them? I'm just so confused and dumbfounded.

BB is soooo much more commonplace than most would think imo.

Not that it makes it any more excusable, but I can at least understand how if two people were drunk and really wanted to fuck but didn't have condoms, that they would just do it anyway. But to soberly go into these situations expecting to bareback just doesn't make sense to me. At all.
