my actual dilemma is tomorrow, fwd x rinse 16th bday @ fabric or optimo and prins thomas @ corsica. i don't even know if i'll be well enough to go raving ;_;

apparently r kelly's asked for glist for fwd x rinse...but it's at fabric. optimo/prins more likely to end in a bin (not sure if that's a plus or minus), but it's south of the river, ugh.

Ekstravaganza is basically the best regular night in London and this one has Optimo + Prins plus Idjut Boys. Also Corsica is the best venue in London that isn't Plastic People.

idk i really didn't feel the prins thomas album. i know that has little bearing on what he'll play out. i don't think i've really liked an optimo mix for a while either. and fabric is easier to get home from if i flake early.

i can dimly remember ultrasound as a name from the late 1990s, but there were all kinds of no-hope guitar bands getting money in the wake of britpop. like muse, whatever happened to them.

When I lived in NYC, my brother used to complain that he got The Bends if forced to go below 14th St (god help him if he had to go to a BOROUGH) ha ha ha. I always think about this when people won't go South of the river.

the funny thing is when i finally moved to north london everyone was like "you'll love how quick it is to get into town" but the west end etc take just as long to get to as a quick skip on the overground and then some tubeage

there is certainly a lot of tubeage available in the west end.
