Eskimo ice cream is kinda blowing my mind right now! I'd never heard of that before.

I'd probably eat at least like 30 of these? I'd skip the brain sandwich and the 10 pound burger (no burger that big can be good). Voted for Arkansas catfish, cuz fried catfish owns.

Rocky Mountain Oysters
Ingredients: Calf testicles, salted water or buttermilk, vegetable oil or lard

Thought they were actual oysters (although realized that didn't make much sense) until I just went through all the pics. Has anyone actually eaten these before?

correct answer is the double double. in n out, even though it's now pretty damn big compared to when there weren't any that weren't drive-thru or walk-up with one or maybe two stone picnic tables outside the walk-up window, has remarkably maintained its quality. I'm pretty damn picky veering on nutrition nazi about what I'll eat food-wise these days (I think I drink way more wine than any nn would condone) but in n out is the irresistible force so I'm lucky I'm east of all that. most of the rest of this stuff, who really cares, especially the double down, fuck outta here with that garbage, the double double is for all time.

Also: I lunched Chik-Fil-A this afternoon for only the second time. While tasty (and the sandwich almost touchingly unremarkable in presentation), it tasted as if those fundies had stuck a salt lick between a Hawaiian roll.

I've driven across Montana a bunch of times but never during the Testicle Festival which seems like the only place I'd want to get rocky mountain oysters.

Chicken fried steak is so good - I bought one of those hole-punched cube steaks a couple weeks ago to make a chicken fried steak and on the way out of the store I told some friends about how awesome they are, and the next week they told me how they were so moved by my speech that they did the same.

Deep-fried crabmeat

Bacon Bleu Cheese Baked Potato
Chicken Fried Steak
Frybread
Fried Cheese Curds
Philly Cheesesteak

This list cheated imo with all those multi-cow burgers.

O! Country Ham! But then...In N Out Double Double!...But then....Beignets!...Corn Dogs!

I'm getting a little teary thinking about country ham. I don't love cold ham, but damn dude, roasted in the oven with the glazeyness and tastyness, it's like a whole different side of meat when it's hot. Also: CHRISTMAS!

But I do have a love for Corn Dogs, since they were my first 'murican food that I ate when I first visited. And DeNio's fleamarket in Roseville has the hugest awesomest corndogs in Northern Cali, I would swear my life on it.

Oh shit and Philly Cheesesteak? My first Philly Cheese with 'wiz was almost a religious experience. Usually I find the fact that greasy juice is pouring out of a sandwich kind of disgusting, but with a Philly Cheese, it's like it's weeping tears of joy that you're eating it.

Deep-fried crabmeat
A Loco Moco
Chocolate chip cookies
Empanadas
Arkansas catfish
Mississippi Mud Pie
Maine Lobster Roll
Fleischkuechie
Sausage Biscuit Bowl
Charred BBQ Ends
Utah Scone
Crab Louis Salad <= without the pickles, h8 pickles
Fried Cheese Curds
New England Clam Chowder
Philly Cheesesteak

^^actively want to eat these, would not even have to be hungover

a lot of these just appear to be acceptable food, but 5 times as much of it as one would normally consume, like the sundry burgers with 94939344 patties per dish.

i did actually say "holy christ" out loud when the luther burger popped up though :/

I can't stop my horror over Eskimo icecream. Reminds me of the episode of Dirty Jobs where this couple make bird food out of rendered fat and insects; at one point I think Mike is stirring up a giant tub of fat with maggots and it was one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen.
Eskimos, I heart you but your icecream terrifies me.

I have a serious respect for the Eskimo ice cream because it's the most efficient fat delivery system out of all of the fatty foods on the list, which I understand is pretty key for folks who live in the Arctic.
