seriously? if there's any celeb whose hedonism has always seemed really grim and compulsive and joyless, it's Lohan. I've barely seen her smile in the past 3 years, just kind of defensively acting all "I'm fine, stop asking me how I'm doing".

I only just found out about this whole SamRo situation. Samantha Ronson looks like the kind of girl I would have a horrible crush on - horrible both because it would never be fulfilled and because I would know in my heart that she wasn't really my type at all (the shoes, the DJ culture, augh!) - but she's totally hot (less so as brunette) and if she could go back in time and date LiLo from four years ago they would be the hottest couple in America.

Also the appeal of: even though SR has the resume of a generic well-placed showbiz insider type, her entire presentation kind of feels like some scroungy kid you would sort of know around town, opening up the possibility that YOU TOO could somehow charm your way into the heart of Lohan.
