No fucking shit. I was told the other day that I don't look 36, which is nice to hear, but the truth is that I'm drooping fast. It seems to all happen at once. By the time I'm 43, I'm going to look 43.

I still get away with looking younger than 39 but its fast catching up with me.

Officially forty in a few weeks FWIW. No idea how old I'm supposed to look, really.

Secrets to looking young, from my experience:

1) Proper hydration at all times.
2) Don't smoke (still working on this one myself).
3) Stay out of the sun. Certainly don't EVER lie in the sun deliberately because you think it will make you look healthier. It won't.
4) Shave your face, you lazy bum. Unkempt stubble adds five years, and doesn't do you any good if you're tending toward a double chin, either. Oddly, a full beard can add much less age to your face, if it's kept tidy.

5) Act your age, not your shoe size.

In Europe they're presently both the same.

I've always stayed out of the sun and drank a ton of water so I think that's helped me. Plagued with scottish burninatory skin I had no choice.

But the drink and smoking is playing slow havoc with my skin condition. Also, added weight has kind of made my face puff and sag a little. If I lost it I'd prob look better.

I'm whining, I'm sure I look fine rly.

An extra ten pounds will fill your container out a bit and help with the sagging. An extra 40 pounds will sag just like everything else.

And yes, you do look fine. Better than fine.

i smoke, but i keep getting told that i look a bit younger than i am (i am 40 yay me the old fart). those folks don't see the increasing number of gray hair fortunately :-)

otherwise, i stay outta the sun and shave. plus my parents both looked younger than they really were (at least till recently) so favorable genes are a partial answer.

My state's drivers licenses have this really messed up design where there's a second, small picture of you behind the data around where the birthday is. Somehow my dark shirt in the picture perfectly lines up with the "1" in "1981" making it look like it says "1984."

I get another three years until I turn 30!

my bf is 31 and people think he's 20. i wish i had his young looks! pretty frightened of how i'm going to look by 40, but at least i can say that i look better at 29 than i did at 22. older, yes, but better.

And I look even better now, not because my physical appearance has become more appealing, but because I've learned how to groom and dress myself better, how to get a haircut on a regular basis instead of just whenever, how to stand up straight, how to be polite most of the time, how to make sure my breath is passable, and on and on. I'm not as pretty as I was when I was 22, but I'm a lot more attractive.
