chicago kevin, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 14:40 (seventeen years ago) link

Actually had a trust fund!

(come on, prove me wrong!)

Masonic Boom, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 14:41 (seventeen years ago) link

I'll wager I'm the only ilxor who knits to tupac on the bus.

Ms Misery, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 14:41 (seventeen years ago) link

xpost: you mean you have one and you consider that too many? :-) granted, i don't have every single so there could be another*crazier lunatic*.

nathalie, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 14:42 (seventeen years ago) link

... spent half a night wandering aimlessly, while drunk, on the métro tracks

Yet again, t'es taré, toi. Il faudrait bien que l'on aille boire un coup la prochaine fois que je suis à Paris, ce qui va être en Novembre.

more than i can count. i used to trade music with a friend in the netherlands where i'd send him stuff he couldn't get over there and vice versa. i also own way too many ceaser singles.

chicago kevin, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 14:49 (seventeen years ago) link

I thought there was another trustie on ILX but I can't think who it was now.

(jaymc's ilx_incomes.xls to thread)

Je dois dire que l'alcool a tendance à me faire faire des trucs cons. J'ai aussi passé une nuit au sommet d'une grue en face de la tour Eiffel.

if $30K in American Century mutual fund shares counts then I was a trust fund kid, once

Yes, I'm crazy. It was Luna and I had to work the next day and it was already going on 1:30 and I was a tad sozzled. I also told them it was the worst set I'd seen them play.

Oh my. Sounds like something I would do although with Luna I'd probably have had them over and called out sick the next day.

ENBB, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:04 (seventeen years ago) link

Bof, pas trop, c'était au mois de mai je crois. Je suis pas vraiment taré, c'est mes potes qui le sont. Sauf pour le métro, ça c'est devenu une facheuse habitude, dès que je bois trop, je me retrouve sur les rails.

shared a bottle of beer with Ian Curtis

god DAMN, dr C!

(i fondly imagine you, joy division, gretton and wilson with a straw each in the neck of the bottle.)

another for me: i bet i'm the only ILX0r who has passed (taken, even) their IAM driving test.

grimly fiendish, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:12 (seventeen years ago) link

Actually, I've had vodka in breakfast tea. Brandy is better, though. Or scotch.

Masonic Boom, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:13 (seventeen years ago) link

Just don't try gin 'n' cheerios. It has a curious and unpleasant taste.

Michael White, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:14 (seventeen years ago) link

Beer and chocolate cereals is quite awful too.

blueski, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:21 (seventeen years ago) link

I've had red wine on my cornflakes. But it was in France, so that was okay.

C J, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:22 (seventeen years ago) link

I kinda wanna try that right now

I've had red wine on my cornflakes. But it was in France, so that was okay.

Bien sûr Madame. What vintage were the cornflakes, if I may ask?

Michael White, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:23 (seventeen years ago) link

IAM = Institute of Advanced Motorists

HGV licence = a driving licence allowing me to drive heavy goods vehicles, i.e. great big lorries

C J, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:24 (seventeen years ago) link

I've done my IAM!!!

dyslexic instant messaging?

nathalie, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:24 (seventeen years ago) link

I so want to see CJ as a burly lorry driver.

Michael White, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:25 (seventeen years ago) link

IAM = Institute of Advanced Motorists

And what are Advanced Motorists may I ask? Does that mean you have super-driving powers? I was hoping IAM driving license meant you could rap in French while driving though.

Jibe, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:26 (seventeen years ago) link

Sambuca is nice in tea. I don't usually like it.

Colonel Poo, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:26 (seventeen years ago) link

I can't remember what vintage les cornflakes were. I was on a camping holiday and ran out of milk for my breakfast cereal, so sloshing some house red into the bowl seemed like a good idea (esp as I was still half cut from the night before anyway).

It was all a long time ago.

C J, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:26 (seventeen years ago) link

I can't even rap in French while walking...

Michael White, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:27 (seventeen years ago) link

And what are Advanced Motorists may I ask?

when they were babies they crawled at two weeks and walked at one month old. By the time they were six they were driving a scooter. A bike? Never bothered with it.

you royalist lickspittle. you're also the only fucking ILX0r who WORE A SUIT - probably for the only time in your entire life! - when the fucking queen and her cumshot husband came to visit us at work (many years ago now).

that big fuzzy blur in the bottom right of this picture is stet's head. LOOK AT THAT SHIRT. HE'S WEARING A CRISP WHITE SHIRT. i, on the other hand, am swearing and ignoring HRH fucking dicksplash.

christ's teeth, i look young there.

grimly fiendish, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 17:13 (seventeen years ago) link

of course: this might also make me - although i hope not - the only ILX0r to ignore a member of the royal family standing behind his desk, and pointedly refuse to acknowledge his presence in any way, shape or form.

please, someone, prove me wrong.

what did it say? "dear aimurchie. i demarnd you relinquish the rights to your birthday and give me all your worldly goods and chattels because I AM THE QUEEN FUCKING MOTHER"?
