Blue CRUSH, I mean.

the D Double signal (nordicskilla), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:13 (nineteen years ago) link

I think.

Does it matter?

the D Double signal (nordicskilla), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:14 (nineteen years ago) link

I forgot your review of Bring It On Again!, any good?

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:14 (nineteen years ago) link

Josie is so classic.

Jimmy Mod Is Great At Getting Us Into Trouble (ModJ), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:14 (nineteen years ago) link

It still eludes me.

xp REALLY?

the D Double signal (nordicskilla), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:15 (nineteen years ago) link

Tell us more!

the D Double signal (nordicskilla), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:15 (nineteen years ago) link

Was it good, Dean? Was it ART?

While it did not rise to the level of such fine efforts as Daddio and the upcoming Fantastic Four movie, it seemed more than capable of delivering on the promise of some dopey cute girl hanging out with a talking car.

urban in nature (deangulberry), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:17 (nineteen years ago) link

I enjoyed all of those, except I haven't seen the Herbie movie.

Sarah McLusky (coco), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:18 (nineteen years ago) link

Tell us about Fantastic Four, too.

the D Double signal (nordicskilla), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:18 (nineteen years ago) link

I totally saw Blue Crush in the theater with my brother, when we decided to see a movie just to avoid the heat in our apartment.

jaymc (jaymc), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:18 (nineteen years ago) link

Perfect. But I don't find Lohan dopey in the least.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:18 (nineteen years ago) link

Jaymc - that's sick, for some reason!

the D Double signal (nordicskilla), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:18 (nineteen years ago) link

I totally saw Blue Crush in the theater with my brother, when we decided to see a movie just to avoid the heat in our apartment.

I may have watched it for other reasons.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:19 (nineteen years ago) link

What is this genre of movies called?

the D Double signal (nordicskilla), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:19 (nineteen years ago) link

Yes, we know Spencer. She's neither dopey nor unhealthy looking.

urban in nature (deangulberry), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:19 (nineteen years ago) link

Spencer, ummm, me too. I mean, it wasn't the only movie playing at the theater!

I wish Michelle Rodriguez didn't always have to play the angry marginalized friend.

jaymc (jaymc), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:19 (nineteen years ago) link

You know, with cute girl surfers or girl guitarists or girls who drive cars or who are mean, and such?

the D Double signal (nordicskilla), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:20 (nineteen years ago) link

It's true Dean, there are dopey actresses but Lohan has always seemed pretty bright.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:21 (nineteen years ago) link

i've seen the preview for this 100000 times

s1ocki (slutsky), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:21 (nineteen years ago) link

xpost - "Gidget-flicks"?

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:21 (nineteen years ago) link

Also, why "Fully Loaded"? Is there drink-driving in this movie?

the D Double signal (nordicskilla), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:21 (nineteen years ago) link

Did anyone else catch the phrase "fully loaded" popping up in presenter speeches during the MTV Movie Awards???

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:23 (nineteen years ago) link

Josie and the Pussycats has Rachael Leigh Cook, ergo way better than those other movies.

Have you seen crazy/beautiful, Adam?

milozauckerman (miloaukerman), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:25 (nineteen years ago) link

It's true Dean, there are dopey actresses but Lohan has always seemed pretty bright.

;D

urban in nature (deangulberry), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:26 (nineteen years ago) link

Have you seen crazy/beautiful, Adam?

Yes I have! I think we've discussed it before! Powerful.

the D Double signal (nordicskilla), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:27 (nineteen years ago) link

I love Dunst.

the D Double signal (nordicskilla), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:28 (nineteen years ago) link

especially since she (and Jake) started bathing again.

milozauckerman (miloaukerman), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:28 (nineteen years ago) link

Dunst...bathing...

the D Double signal (nordicskilla), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:29 (nineteen years ago) link

I just remembered that I shouldn't chastise Jaymc for seeing "gidget films" with his brother, as I went with my brother to totally see SUGAR & SPICE. *gulp*

the D Double signal (nordicskilla), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:31 (nineteen years ago) link

and that witchy movie...the one with the moody girl...The Craft?

the D Double signal (nordicskilla), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:31 (nineteen years ago) link

Also Dean, don't you think she looks, er, "healthy" in the most recent pix? Otherwise, maybe we should say something!

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:31 (nineteen years ago) link

The Craft is so good.

milozauckerman (miloaukerman), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:32 (nineteen years ago) link

Is it, though?

the D Double signal (nordicskilla), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:33 (nineteen years ago) link

(Did anyone actually see D.E.B.S. ????)

the D Double signal (nordicskilla), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:33 (nineteen years ago) link

I don't think I saw it, I thought it might be too goth.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:33 (nineteen years ago) link

BLUE CRUSH is soooo good!

n/a (Nick A.), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:34 (nineteen years ago) link

The Craft, that is.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:34 (nineteen years ago) link

Haha! Yes! It must be KYLE'S favorite movie!

the D Double signal (nordicskilla), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:34 (nineteen years ago) link

I don't think I can go another day without seeing Blue Crush, it's clearly a winner.

the D Double signal (nordicskilla), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:35 (nineteen years ago) link

Blue Crush is pretty great.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:35 (nineteen years ago) link

blue crush was not so good!!! kate bosworth is 100% charisma-free!

s1ocki (slutsky), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:35 (nineteen years ago) link

Bosworth plays it tough.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:35 (nineteen years ago) link

her character was so weak and annoying! it was a BETRAYAL!

s1ocki (slutsky), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:36 (nineteen years ago) link

No way, Blue Crush ruled. I think The Craft fucking blows though.

n/a (Nick A.), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:36 (nineteen years ago) link

Also Dean, don't you think she looks, er, "healthy" in the most recent pix? Otherwise, maybe we should say something!

Next time you're dancing, lean over and let her know that I think she has an unhealthy amount of freckles. She needs to either wear less revealing clothing or she needs to stay inside more. If L-Lo gets skin cancer, then Hilary Duff is going to want skin cancer and pretty soon they'll all be all cancered up.

urban in nature (deangulberry), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:36 (nineteen years ago) link

and the cgi faces looked TERRIBLE!!

s1ocki (slutsky), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:36 (nineteen years ago) link

bring it on RULES over all of these movies

s1ocki (slutsky), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:37 (nineteen years ago) link

Bosworth had lots of charisma in Win a Date with Todd Hamilton!

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 10 June 2005 19:37 (nineteen years ago) link

If they are still making these movies when I am in my 80s, I predict that I will die of a heart attack in a second-run theater.
