I just realized I have like no starstruck deal wrt like musicians and actors or whatever but if I met Matthew Barney I would prob go into a slackjawed coma or something

i haven't seen an entire barney movie (free joke there) aside from the few minutes of a scarring installation experience at the walker as a teenager but i sort of agree

matthew barney fascinates me only because i still can't figure out how he can afford to do this shit. (other than the vague "patrons" explanation.)

also i have an innate love for dudes who just seem to pursue their own thing without seeming to give much of a shit about reception.
