can i count on a ned raggett sponsored tour of SoCal hotspots if i ever do pack up and move there?

When it comes to San Diego my current hotspot knowledge is a bit rusty. Donut Bitch knows more, even though he's in Seattle. ;-) As for LA and OC, we'll have to make it a cosponsored tour with Chaki, Arthur and myself.

Based on my notions of the weather, I'm interested in Portland, Seattle, and the UK. (I've been to London, but I was 6 at the time; I've never been to the US locations.)

Much more centrally in London would be my first choice. I don't imagine very central (Russell Square would be nice) will ever be within my budget. If I have to choose somewhere outside London, I uess the only reason I like London more than New York is because it's where my friends are. If they all decided they wanted nothing more to do with me or something like that, I can imagine considering moving to New York as a decent option.

I don't know where I want to live. I seem to hate every city with an equal passion at the moment, but maybe that's due to my being a "carping indie no-hoper" or whatever.

I suppose place is unimportant. I want to live with people with whom there is mutual respect, intellectual stimulation and emotional support. Fortunately for me, this will be happening shortly, and I am counting down the days!

London, different from here but not too different, everything tends to be slightly oh how do I put it "better", I've pretty much made up my mind I want to live in London when I get my degree.
