NANANANNANANNA KNEES woah Jim and I bought it last night after queuing for an hour with the kids (two of whom jim was totally flirting with)!! I only played it for half an hour and now I have an Afro and a Gun tattoo on my chest! and i spraycanned somebody in the face.

Hey, I did some voiceovers for this game....I guess they made it in....my friends have heard it....One is a radio commercial for a fake Viagra type product and I'm cuckolded husband whose wife has slept with the teenager next door.....the other one is some kinda fake Tony Robbins type inspirational speaker who tells poor people that they need to accept and be happy being poor....i say something like "BBBUT I'M HOMELESS!"

I haven't heard it yet, there's so much audio in this game....

or you can just use the cheat codes to have unlimited supplies. I can't beat Cesars racing mission. I hit the nitro on my car and i can't control it. i also like that i can now recruit gang members who just start shooting people when they say something to me. Im hard.

About 6 hours in now (done nothing else all day) and obviously it's too soon to judge, but...I can't help thinking I enjoyed the atmosphere of vice city more. This may change though, I've not travelled very far yet.

While we're here, is Vice City a better game than GTA3? I'd more readily pick up and play the earlier one, I think. I just think the city has more character.

While we're here, is Vice City a better game than GTA3? I'd more readily pick up and play the earlier one, I think. I just think the city has more character.

I think Vice City is oh-so-just-about a better game than the third one due to the increased ease of play, I found GTA3 more irritating than VC at most times, and plus there are tonnes of extra things in VC like choppers, bikes, buying property, etc.
Although, as most people have pointed out, the graphics and the atmosphere of the city in GTA3 was far superior to VC.
It would be cool if R* remade the third one with some of the cool extras like being able to pop tyres and shoot people inside vehicles.

Hari, I am envious I cannot cancel mine now and I have to wait till Monday.

worst cheat code ever...

i played for about two hours last night, it took me three goes to get the first bike bit right because i am shit. i was having great difficulty following the blue dots on the radar doo-dah...

i'm very afeared that i will spend ages playing pool and silly arcade games rather than "getting on with it".

i'm not allowing myself to play today until i put these shelves up that i bought last week...

Nothing wrong with that. I think the game actually encourages dawdling around. Right now, I'm running through the missions fairly straight through, but I feel like I'm missing a lot. Didn't do much of the gang wars stuff, and right now I'm blocked from doing that.

Right now, all I'll say is wait 'til you get out of Los Santos. You have no idea where this game is going to take you. It's nothing but amazing.

My only problem with this game and all the others is that I'm so crap at it I always get sick of failing the same mission five times in a row and wander off and just aimlessly kill people/get killed/arrested for hours at a time. I spent hours yesterday playing pool in the bar with that guy who keeps insulting your shoes ('dem shoes is SHITTEH'), and when I finally managed to beat him I ended up twatting him with a pool cue. When I went outside other people had begun insulting my shoes as well so maybe they really were shitty.

Target dudes in green with R1 as you would if you were going to attack them, and press up on the d-pad.

They don't seem to be very good at killing people that aren't really easy to kill anyway, but it looks good.
