That was at Smith & Wollenski's in midtown after I'd proposed. We saw Rush Limbaugh go by (looking much the portlier) and Peggy stole an engraved steak knife (she has a latant cleptomaniacal streak).

Actually, i'd proposed on Halloween of 2000. This was a month or so afterwards (prior to 2001, but I always make that mistake, as we used the above photo for an engagement party invitaion in 2001.)
