xpost to july - i love black licorice but it's not really movie theatre candy. i don't even eat food at the movies. but when i was a teenager we would sometimes sneak candy in, and that is when my love for red twizzler licorice began. fuck that stuff is good. it's the perfect combination of fake-fruit taste and edible plastic texture. nothing else is like that. and you can tie it up in knots. now i eat it, like, twice a year, and it is still damn good.

in the spirit of this thread i went to the deli and got some sour patch kids & lion king fruit snacks (timon & pumba fruit snacks, actually, in the shape of bugs with "gooey" centers.)

I like Raisinets. You should never pass up chocolate-covered raisins. Or chocolate-covered peanuts, which I also find at the movies. Also good to select: the bite-size Butterfingers, Reese's Pieces, and the Kit Kat bar large enough to share.
