Drove an hour suth on a whim to go out with childhood friends, currently sharing remaindwr of a bottle of jd with the woman who was once the girl i loved from age 6-16. We're singing and tbrr i only wish estela was here just cos then she could tick that minor dmac box off. My voice was reason enough for the pub owner to lock us in til 4am with group drinks paid, result enough i guess. Suuuuppp

Indeed, and you don't get it here, so I had to drink the whole bottle like a good mexican. I still feel weird, though: just woke up, very groggy but not hungover; my laptop was on all night, reminding me that I did this instead of working on a job application. I guess I have a problem. Also: really really like mezcal.

I did indeed. Went yesterday - both sessions, 2 different sets of good people, afterparty till 3am. After a dreary start, the weather was in our favour; can't imagine it would be much fun today. Some really good beers. Didn't even contemplate going today because I needed to work on my job application, and also because 13 straight hours of drinking on top of what had already been a more-than-usually boozy week = time for a break. Had a bottle of wine tonight, leaving it at that.

Also: are you from cambridge?

Not "from" but I live in Cambridge. Might go again on Saturday if the weather picks up.
