i hate the word "turkey" and also the word makes me think of being surrounded by family members i don't like asking probing questions and wondering when i'm going to find a wife. cf. "turkey time" ugh so awful!

i have a gigantic gold metallic and orange button that says "OFFICIAL TURKEY TASTER" and have worn it on Thanksgiving since ca. 1990 because in that year my sister was annoyed by it
