Fair enough, I'm not saying the average experimental music fan thinks like that, but you do occasionally see such arguments in the Wire.
I love freaky music and am not arguing against its potency. It's just that I'd rather freak out to Sun Ra than Whitehouse.

I missed most of Dot to Dot due to being inadvertantly waylaid drinking Cosmopolitans in a gay bar.

Stet, were you there? As I was leaving, I saw someone who looked like you sitting at the bar but I couldn't be arsed going over to find out if it was or not. If it wasn't you, you have a doppelganger of sorts (I only had one contact lens in, so I may be very wrong).

Anyway, RJG, Alba, Dahlin, Stew were all present and correct, making it a mini-FAP in separate parts, I suppose.

But... Scotland v Belarus! I'd forgotten about that.

What about the Friday of that week?

I forgot to mention that the Stet-a-like was sitting down, so not immediately obviously a big tall lanky chap, hence confusion.

Z-list celeb count = Stephen Pastel, Gerry Love, Duglas T Stewart. There must have been more, but I was only there for about half an hour, minus one contact lens.

I keep getting Dot 2 Dot songs stuck in my head. This must be some sort of good. But not for me, haha (this morning it is "Dusty Cover").

i hardly count as being there, as i arrived late, and cranky, fled for food, and did not return. ah well.
now friday i could probably do!
and yes, the metro is only published five days a week, but i've taken on sports shifts at another paper too! crazy i know, but Â£142 for five hours (half-assed) work is nothing to be sniffed at. er... that's the wrong phrase innit? hmmmm....
anyway... back to work...

This is why I wanted to know about numbers. So we could decide on a venue. We could go somewhere else (suggestions?) if we have a larger number, and go to Cossachok some other time.

We talked about this before and decided it would be nice to make it a semi-regular occurrence, rather than just drinking --> falling over in a ruined heap. So perhaps little Russian place some other time, if there are too many people this time.

Better to eat some Russian first, and then do that? Cossachok is rather small, but I don't know that it's ever particularly busy either. If the average FAP attendance is, say, 10 then perhaps a table should be booked for slightly over that number? And the reservation made under the name 'Ilks' to hide any possible embarassment. Ho!
