You know how in sitcoms and stuff there are like fake auctions to win dates with celebs and stuff (maybe this actually happens irl but I don't think it does). I want to win a friend date with A & I. Is that weird? That's probably really weird.

I rewatched the mail ep last night and was dying at "Garol" all over again.

What a genius ep. I always had this pet theory that cell phones killed New York, because there are always dozens of things going on any given night, anyway, but suddenly people had the means to look for something better as soon as they got where they were going. Like, "great party, what else is going on?" This ep pushed that to the perfect FOMO extreme. Funny, well-acted, Lincoln (loved the cab exit) and gym guy and no Bevers.

A writer on the Irish Independent called this show "darkly humorous" uhh what?

Loved this ep, too. Great use of secondary characters that did not distract from the central pair of stars, especially given dog wedding had every potential to be as obnoxious as wedding episode last season. Cracked up at the endless rainbow flag from the bag and also Abbi kicking the ball back with a rollerblade on and predictably but hilariously taking a spill. Also, heartened by the lack of a blurred nudity gag.

i liked the ribbon gag so much i was hopnig she'd find another one

I hoped the ribbon gag would be endless, like Steve Martin pouring coffee in Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid, but it was perfect as it was.

Huge fan of the show, about to finish the first season. How's the second one?

Took them an episode or two to warm back up but it's great so far.

one thing that I like about this show is the # of jokes that would make zero sense to someone who isn't living in nyc in 2015, or at least someone who knows the city pretty well

overall i think prob season 1 is still better than season 2 but the pegging episode is the show's best ever ep.
