i haven't seen GG "praising" so much as pointing out anomalies in the MSN Two Polarized Parties binary, similar to when he identifies the issues on which Obama, Peter King and Mitch McConnell are in lockstep.

that said, i have no illusions that had obama been a senator in 2002, he would have voted for the war. it was his privilege not to have been in federal office when that vote came up, a privilege that allowed him to run as an anti-war candidate.

chafee doesn't have a prayer in hell but he's a serious guy and probably the sort of person who should be running for president (although i have many differences w/ him).

if Biden runs we could have Delaware Vermont and Rhode Island running wild over the USA during the primaries.
