That Lonnie Mack track upthread is so great. A lot of guys play the same notes and runs in the blues, so to shine you really have to bring something special to the table. Whatever that thing is, Lonnie had it.

Indeed. I saw him once at the Bottom Line in NYC decades ago and he really delivered the goods. I believe there may have been at least one other future ilxor in the audience that evening.
