I'm now older than Dunn was when he started playing Corporal Jones. Just as long as I'm not an actual grandad in three years' time.

Yeah, yet another misunderstanding of a four year old anniversary revival of something on Twitter (though by the time I saw it trending on Twitter, all the tweets were people taking the piss of people who thought he'd just died). Like how Tony Hart dies every year.

I love how in the Bullit segment of that McQueen doc from about ten years ago, Vaughn is so casually frank when discussing the appeal of the movie--[paraphrased]"Let's face it, the story makes no sense...but Steve was such a great actor"

I don't discriminate against genres in my listening. I write about what I can talk about reasonably. Norton rules, other people can write more intelligently about them.

Truth be told, I used to get Billy and Miriam confused with Billy and Michelle, who used to cut quite a figure at the front of many an Alex Chilton show, at which they would request (Little) "G.T.O" which he would gladly perform for them. Can't remember ever talking to Billy, did talk to Miriam once about her paperback collection and the appearance therein of both Hal Ellson and Harlan Ellison.
