I should say, my sources tell me their sources tell me that everyone in this administration will one day die, with a better than zero chance it will be by hanging or firing squad or something. You know, for espionage. (My source, by the way, is Anthony Kiedis, who has been in touch with Agents Moby and Tom Arnold - was it wrong to write all that and unmask them? My bad!).

It's terrifying that we live in a country where you can be executed for treason without being charged or tried beforehand. But that is unquestionably the country in which we live.

When I floated this idea to Capitol Hill Republicans, they generally found it preposterous. They were willing to allow for the possibility that some Trump campaign officials might have inappropriately cooperated with Russians, but they said the president and his team were simply too incompetent to pull off a high-level House of Cards-style conspiracy.
