WELCOME, TO THE WORLD, OF THE FUTURE!

Andrew Blood Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 1 July 2004 02:45 (nineteen years ago) link

So bored... have to set up 15 new ISDN connections in a day and a half for this bigass Transport company who are a HUGE client of ours, and it is so tedious clicking on the same options and links and typing in the data for 15 links... AARGH.

In better news I found out I will get 15 grand or more (mostly tax free) if I take my redundancy. WOO HOO.

xpost isnt it "WELCOME TO THE WORRRLLLD OF TOMORROW!" ? ;)

Trayce (trayce), Thursday, 1 July 2004 02:46 (nineteen years ago) link

Yeah it prob is actually. I tend to be stoned when I watch "Futurama", you see. Good news, everyone! I'm a horse's butt!

Andrew Blood Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 1 July 2004 02:48 (nineteen years ago) link

and what a fine one you are.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Thursday, 1 July 2004 02:49 (nineteen years ago) link

Futurama tends not to be that flirty!

Andrew Blood Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 1 July 2004 02:50 (nineteen years ago) link

Sadly.

Andrew Blood Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 1 July 2004 02:54 (nineteen years ago) link

Mmm stoned Futurama watching. Add popcorn and you have Trayce's fave nite in.

Trayce (trayce), Thursday, 1 July 2004 03:28 (nineteen years ago) link

If anyone wants me I'll be in The Angry Dome.

The Ghost at Number Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Thursday, 1 July 2004 03:41 (nineteen years ago) link

"And Fry you have that brain thing!"
"I already did!"

Trayce (trayce), Thursday, 1 July 2004 03:53 (nineteen years ago) link

'We love you Bender honey'
'Shut up baby, I know it'

The Ghost at Number Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Thursday, 1 July 2004 03:55 (nineteen years ago) link

Now I want a Futurama marathon FAP at my place.

Trayce (trayce), Thursday, 1 July 2004 03:57 (nineteen years ago) link

"Hey baby... wanna kill all humans?" Trayce me and my dear friend should be in Melbourne sometime this year, so if you fancy doing that a bit etc

Andrew Blood Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 1 July 2004 03:58 (nineteen years ago) link

Futurama FAP. Ahhh. Add chocolate and beer and I will die happy.

The Ghost at Number Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Thursday, 1 July 2004 04:01 (nineteen years ago) link

Oh yeah! I would so be up for hosting a Furutama Mega-FAP at mine, especially if you'll be over visiting Andrew! That'd rool. If people weren't weirded out by visiting my home that is. I know Jim loves his Futurama too, as does my other 'alf, so yeah.

Beer, chocolate, hell, chocolate ice cream, popcorn, more beer, vodka, ... this could be dangerous.

Trayce (trayce), Thursday, 1 July 2004 06:03 (nineteen years ago) link

Furutama Mega-FAP

Aha, sounds like a manga enemy. FURU-TAMA!! MEGA-FAP!!

Have you got all the DVDs, Trayce?

The Ghost at Number Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Thursday, 1 July 2004 06:08 (nineteen years ago) link

I most certainly do! All 4 box-sets :D

Trayce (trayce), Thursday, 1 July 2004 06:16 (nineteen years ago) link

Well yeah that's the plan but I'm crap at plans, wish us luck, and thanks for the invite

Andrew Blood Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 1 July 2004 07:08 (nineteen years ago) link

Two week downtime? This calls for a contingency plan, stat.

The Ghost at Number Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Thursday, 1 July 2004 20:34 (nineteen years ago) link

Go out and have parties.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 1 July 2004 20:34 (nineteen years ago) link

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 1 July 2004 21:37 (nineteen years ago) link

The next door neighbour's kid just said: "My daddy dressed up as a girl. They he said, 'Ooooh, I'm a girl!!' Then blah! He vomit."

the music mole (colin s barrow), Thursday, 1 July 2004 21:40 (nineteen years ago) link

gaz (gaz), Thursday, 1 July 2004 22:08 (nineteen years ago) link

Skottie, Thursday, 1 July 2004 22:10 (nineteen years ago) link

Not might, gaz, will. It's set in stone, suckaz.

edward o (edwardo), Thursday, 1 July 2004 22:12 (nineteen years ago) link

Edward, can I suggest you ask whether there are anny Syd gigs on Mono?

http://mono.net/discussion.asp

They'll throw a thousand suggestions at you.

My band's playing on 11th and 22nd, so I can't guilt trip you into that one.

the music mole (colin s barrow), Thursday, 1 July 2004 23:24 (nineteen years ago) link

Depending on what happens in the next few days, I might go up a few days later and thus leave a few days later, in which case I am quite amenable to being guilt-tripped.

edward o (edwardo), Thursday, 1 July 2004 23:33 (nineteen years ago) link

OK then!

the music mole (colin s barrow), Thursday, 1 July 2004 23:38 (nineteen years ago) link

Before the ILE outage, here's the details - club 77, 77 william st, Old D*s Peres, Ch*rry2000 (us), M*ink Engin*. The night's called Dr*pping Wet P*ssy.

the music mole (colin s barrow), Thursday, 1 July 2004 23:40 (nineteen years ago) link

thats a catchy name for a night.

gaz (gaz), Thursday, 1 July 2004 23:44 (nineteen years ago) link

Unforgettable hey?

Oh yeah, that's the 22 July one. My birthay. I'll be so offended if you don't come.

the music mole (colin s barrow), Thursday, 1 July 2004 23:44 (nineteen years ago) link

OK. You have to come to Canberra and see my band play, then.

edward o (edwardo), Thursday, 1 July 2004 23:58 (nineteen years ago) link

What are they called???

the music mole (colin s barrow), Friday, 2 July 2004 00:07 (nineteen years ago) link

Had you there, I do not have a band, so you've dodged a bullet there.

edward o (edwardo), Friday, 2 July 2004 00:08 (nineteen years ago) link

bit early to be drunk edward!

gaz (gaz), Friday, 2 July 2004 00:14 (nineteen years ago) link

But you are from Canberra, yes?

the music mole (colin s barrow), Friday, 2 July 2004 00:15 (nineteen years ago) link

I'm not drunk. But perhaps I should be, because regrettably, I am in Canberra.

edward o (edwardo), Friday, 2 July 2004 00:19 (nineteen years ago) link

My gf is Canberran.

the music mole (colin s barrow), Friday, 2 July 2004 00:22 (nineteen years ago) link

Are you trying to rescue her from this place?

(actually, it's not so bad here)

edward o (edwardo), Friday, 2 July 2004 00:23 (nineteen years ago) link

Most of her friends ended up in Syd or Melb, but some are still there. I enjoy going back with her, to visit her mum and sometimes do the odd gig.

the music mole (colin s barrow), Friday, 2 July 2004 00:25 (nineteen years ago) link

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GAZ YA BARSTOOL!

Youre a Canberran Edward? Or just visiting?

This ex-Canberran says "I am very sorry" ;P

Trayce (trayce), Friday, 2 July 2004 00:26 (nineteen years ago) link

Transitional year. Moved from Queensland in January, likely to be moving to Wollongong early next year.
