I thought the 2000->3000 thing was awkward and lame and it seemed like the audience thought so too

I wasn't sure it was going to work as "3000" but by the time it was over I was fine with it.

Since this has sort of turned into a general late night thread, who's placing odds on Jon Stewart taking over for Letterman when his run is over? CBS and Comedy Central are Viacom bedfellows, and I can't think of a single candidate more primed for the job right now (excepting Colbert, which could be fun if he carried over the character).

I have to say, my favorite movie press tour is still Kelly Clarkson begging people to not see "From Justin To Kelly".

I still need to watch that.

The movie is set during spring break in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I recall somehow vaguely enjoying "From Justin to Kelly," maybe on one of those Sunday afternoons where there's food within reach of the couch, but I do recall thinking it could have used more of Clarkson looking hot

(I mean, I know it was an American Idol family-friendly movie, and part of the appeal of Clarkson is that she is not a sexpot by temperament or anything, but there is something odd about doing a beach movie in the new millennium that does not throw slightly more of a bone to the segment of the audience that finds the star attractive)

I guess they figured the audience would be throwing enough bones of their own
