The new Whammies preserve the style and sound of the originals too. Don't know if Holland is involved or not.
Banks is pretty good. One of the things I liked about Tomarken was how much he wasn't a total pro host. He was a production guy who crossed over, and iirc PYL was only his first or second series. In every episode he seemed to be falling over his words or making a joke (or jokes) that clearly didn't land, which he'd awkwardly have to talk his way out of. Pretty relatable, imho.
