I mean, during a weekend of resolving to deal with some of this I'm down to 48, most of which are of the "someone is mad at me for not yet having responded because it's actually important" kind (I delete unimportant ones immediately and deal with easy ones right away). so that is 48 lurking horrors. maybe today I will get it into the 30s? tomorrow there will be 20 more of this sort. basically I am a professional emailer and not very good at it.
