Lex was one of the few posters I was aware of before coming on here as he had written a mean review of a friend's music, and I found him objectionable at first, however I have come around to his pov on quite a lot of music since then. Only thing I'd stick on is his enthusiasm for hating things, it seemed like his main motivation when it came to music and this is something I will never get my head around. Some of his posts are absolute gold of course.

Although he pops up on very rare occasions, I miss the urbane, humorous, compassionate and sensible presence of Michael White.

Judging from twitter, Lex is a good cook now, and has even cooked potatoes? Could probably get him back if there was an I Love Tennis.

lex was funny and a glimpse into a world of gay i've never known but have always been fascinated by.

camaraderie at arms length is, i think, a new-ish poster who i am very much enjoying.

true, but, that term was something that went from polite to pejorative during our lifetimes (well those of us over 35 idk) -- and there has definitely been a shift in terms of "community standards" -- h4a was permabanned by mods, but I don't remember the details, and the lol Admin log does not give a reason.
