éminence rose et jaune (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 15 December 2019 14:40 (four years ago) link

Banáná hÉireann (darraghmac), Sunday, 15 December 2019 14:40 (four years ago) link

Meanwhile, Ferguson must be enjoying the Man Utd game. Duncan, that is.

I've Got A Ron Wood Solo Album To Listen To (Tom D.), Sunday, 15 December 2019 14:42 (four years ago) link

de Gea was shite for the Everton goal, but he was pretty clearly fouled

nothing from VAR

Number None, Sunday, 15 December 2019 14:48 (four years ago) link

doesn't bode well when you play like that for 40-odd minutes and don't score

éminence rose et jaune (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 15 December 2019 14:48 (four years ago) link

helluva frenzied half that was. I'm half-asleep so I didn't bother to pull my laptop up lol.

hope they can find the net in the second half.

100 Percent That Grinch (Neanderthal), Sunday, 15 December 2019 14:50 (four years ago) link

hence what i said about looking like 'almost' scoring from every attack

imago, Sunday, 15 December 2019 14:51 (four years ago) link

Jimenez's miss is the one we'll regret if the score stands

100 Percent That Grinch (Neanderthal), Sunday, 15 December 2019 14:52 (four years ago) link

éminence rose et jaune (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 15 December 2019 14:52 (four years ago) link

he did a double back flip and then did the M. Bison "psycho crusher" and tore the cover off the ball, Patricio lost his pants in the effort, insane goal

100 Percent That Grinch (Neanderthal), Sunday, 15 December 2019 14:53 (four years ago) link

éminence rose et jaune (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 15 December 2019 14:56 (four years ago) link

100 Percent That Grinch (Neanderthal), Sunday, 15 December 2019 14:57 (four years ago) link

even Souness thinks it was a foul

Number None, Sunday, 15 December 2019 14:58 (four years ago) link

Yeah, don't really fancy Raul from outside the box

éminence rose et jaune (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 15 December 2019 14:58 (four years ago) link

this is the type of game where I could see two goals happening in the span of three minutes.

for which squad, tho....

100 Percent That Grinch (Neanderthal), Sunday, 15 December 2019 14:59 (four years ago) link

éminence rose et jaune (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 15 December 2019 15:30 (four years ago) link

i must have missed the announcement that this was a cup tie

éminence rose et jaune (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 15 December 2019 15:32 (four years ago) link

Wolves a bit rattled and niggly the last 5 minutes and as i'm typing it we get another Traore stopper from Dier

éminence rose et jaune (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 15 December 2019 15:36 (four years ago) link

Greenwood is going to be an absolute superstar

Number None, Sunday, 15 December 2019 15:37 (four years ago) link

éminence rose et jaune (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 15 December 2019 15:49 (four years ago) link

Wolves w/ brutal sched coming up, tho no Europa for a while to exhaust them.

100 Percent That Grinch (Neanderthal), Sunday, 15 December 2019 15:54 (four years ago) link

Le Bateau Ivre, Sunday, 15 December 2019 15:55 (four years ago) link

éminence rose et jaune (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 15 December 2019 15:55 (four years ago) link

great game, maybe the best i've seen us play. all i want for Christmas is a goal poacher tbh

éminence rose et jaune (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 15 December 2019 15:56 (four years ago) link

very harsh, tho tbh the final ball from wolves all game didnt really hurt us as much as other teams have managed tbh

Banáná hÉireann (darraghmac), Sunday, 15 December 2019 15:58 (four years ago) link

yeah that energy came with a degree of headless chickenry at times, Jota, Raul and Traore all chose the wrong option on occasion

éminence rose et jaune (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 15 December 2019 16:00 (four years ago) link

Banáná hÉireann (darraghmac), Sunday, 15 December 2019 17:06 (four years ago) link

a wondersave away from the sickest hat-trick in living memory

imago, Sunday, 15 December 2019 17:14 (four years ago) link

Arsenal have not lost a top flight home match by more than a three-goal margin since a 5-1 defeat against Wolves on 22 April 1961.

This is a pretty crazy statistic, especially for Arsenal given recent times.

Le Bateau Ivre, Sunday, 15 December 2019 17:33 (four years ago) link

Lads, how's this for a xmas surprise: Pards is most likely the new manager of ADO Den Haag (link). The ugliest side in the Eredivisie - all about stamina and rolling up sleeves, nice football we don't care for; sort of like West Ham on the pitch, and w/ Millwall Bushwackers as their audience - thought it wise to take on Pardew as their manager. For whatever reason.

Now I'm not saying this is a bigger failure or a more unthinkable appointment than Moyes at Sociedad, but it sure is promising!

Le Bateau Ivre, Monday, 16 December 2019 18:36 (four years ago) link

Dutch media say he'll be on the pitch as early as Sunday. If this happens, I feel obliged to start a 'Pards goes Dutch' thread to track the man, the myth.
