i can't remember where i met her from I tend to just say 'yes' to any woman who speaks to me in the game. she now lives near the toll booths to the golden gate bridge, i think the area is called 'paradise'

Why can't i get back into the Mod garage? I've been once at the start of a mission (the first time it appeared), I tried to return later and couldn't get in. Tried in a few different cars as well. What's going on?

do you know which garage it is? Certain garages only take specific cars, they usually say on their sign anyway. The street-race mod garage only takes a few types of car I think.

ah, i think you mean Cesar, and its a lowrider mod garage. Lowriders only which are things like the Slamvan, Majestic, the convertible with the bad cornering, the karate-kid type pimp car, probably a couple of others.

there are other mod garages indicated by a red spanner head on your map, these take normal cars.

There's one that takes others on the long street at the north of Los Santos, but it still doesnt take everything (my plans for a bright pink securicar and matching motorbike down the drain).

And I think Katie was hanging around the tennis court in San Fierro when you first meet her.

I got hungry for something sweet awhile ago. I walked from room to room in the building looking for some candy. I found some peanut butter cups in the kitchen. When I picked them up, I half expected to hear a thoing and feel my control pad shake.

I had to look this up:

i did well last night, although still some distance behind you lot. i rescued denise, won the cesar race (it is a piece of piss with the nitro isn't it? haha, sitll took me three goes though) and did the pimp missions. my driving skill is finally going up, still having bother with the shooting the russians mission, but i am getting there i think...

Las Venturas looks great at night but it's a bit bare compared to Los Santos during the day. San Fierro is just Lego town.

You need to just lay money on the "red" or "black" boxes on the roulette table at first. easier odds. once you win 4-5 times they increase your limit.

I love that shooting the russians mission, especially as you can shoot the boss from outside the door and not have to chase after him and potentially lose yr bearings (as I did first time) Grenades help a hella lot too, also on the funeral mission

I had my first joyride in an FBI car last night, I managed to drive it about 3 feet before it was peppered with gun fire and exploded.

Running and climbing over garden fences gives a somewhat satisfying feeling of being on the run.

CarsmileSteve and I are at the same point in the game, I think. I did take care of the Russians (finally) and accompolished my pimping missions. Denise and I went out on our first date as well.

In a way, I'm glad that it's taken me so long. I get the idea that I'll still be playing this game sometime into next spring. Long Cold Winter can eat my ass.

Don't get up onstage with the strippers at the PigPen. Learned that one the hard way.

Has anyone attempted the 'Beat The Cock' sub mission? Its a crazy Ironman contest against some other blokes, and a dude dressed as a 'cock'. I failed because on the cycling stage the checkpoint was incorrect at telling me to go right and I went tumbling down a cliff.

my theory is that you need to bump the car a lot (i haven't succeeded in the cruise yet after a couple of gos - but when you drive her normall and hit something she's all like "omg you're a maniac! i LOVE IT" and "car crashes get me hottt" so i'm guessing that'd be the tactics! i'm gonna try it out when i have a chance)
