Saw this thread this morning re Canada's participation in WWI. It held up for me even though I'd never thought about these events in this way.

I used to love it at football matches during minute's silence for armistice day when Alex would be loudly stimming/shouting and we'd both be sat down and some nonchalant teenager in front of us was the only other person sat down, and it felt like we were the only people in this whole stand with the right attitude towards this dishonest charade. Once someone shouted Shut Up! at Alex. I retorted, no you stfu dickhead! it felt good tbh!
