That's kind of how I've felt about this, my instinct is to roll my eyes and ignore this obvious stunt, BUT... I fear for what comes next if they do walk out and insist that Trump won. Not that I fear the election being undone or anything but, as the articles says, it being used as a springboard to even more voter suppression.

For sure if they get anything they can crow about — even if it's mostly BS — there will be pressure for the other swing-state GOP legislatures to do the same. But most legislatures will be out of session by next month, so they'd probably have to call special sessions just to do it. Which, of course, they would do.

Even if science did say that masking was unnecessary, what negative impact does wearing a mask have on the non-wearer? Even if you strongly believe that people are made in God's image, how can you demand that they uncover their faces but not the rest of their bodies? What reason could anyone possibly have for telling another person to take off their mask in public except that Tucker told them to and they do whatever Tucker says.
