You should just be able to use Audacity and record whatever sound is playing on the computer (that's what I do for YouTube).

if you are using a pc you need to enable "stereo mix" as a sound source, Windows keeps disabling it every time there's a big update.

then it's just a matter of opening any music editor, choosing "stereo mix" instead of a microphone, and starting the streamed audio playing / pressing record.
