Could be a long day.

Nobody can handle nipples like Bobo (Tom D.), Saturday, 17 September 2022 12:19 (two years ago) link

looks like my decision to be too hungover to watch that was a good one

Son off the bench and scores a screamer

groovypanda, Saturday, 17 September 2022 18:07 (two years ago) link

I was about to say an alternative name for this thread might be Where Have All The Spurs Fans Gone?

Nobody can handle nipples like Bobo (Tom D.), Saturday, 17 September 2022 18:09 (two years ago) link

perhaps Son's dad might concede that he's a fairly competent footballer tonight

calzino, Saturday, 17 September 2022 18:16 (two years ago) link

Spurs have been pretty bad but I don’t think I’ve ever been happier for any player than I am for Son right now.

Oof. Super sub. 13 minute hat trick

Rodgers probably doomed

groovypanda, Saturday, 17 September 2022 18:18 (two years ago) link

was it on here or somewhere else where i saw the Rodgers and Gerrard race described as El Sackico the other day?

i lolled, anyway

I never liked the creep, feel vindicated now.

calzino, Saturday, 17 September 2022 18:33 (two years ago) link

I never liked him and he won two trebles with Celtic!

Nobody can handle nipples like Bobo (Tom D.), Saturday, 17 September 2022 18:35 (two years ago) link

Leicester and West Ham would both be better off if they swapped managers

Taxi for Bruno

God, so bad.

stank viola (Neanderthal), Saturday, 1 October 2022 17:21 (one year ago) link

what makes it worse when we're like this is all i can hear is my old man moaning about it

Mizue loves company (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 1 October 2022 17:22 (one year ago) link

Put Costa in to start a few fights

stank viola (Neanderthal), Saturday, 1 October 2022 17:23 (one year ago) link

if he's anywhere close to fitness he's gotta come on at some point. starting to have big doubts about Bruno's decision-making tho

Mizue loves company (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 1 October 2022 17:25 (one year ago) link

Just weird to see such a major regression, even Nunes and Guedes can't make much difference given the awkward style Wolves is playing

stank viola (Neanderthal), Saturday, 1 October 2022 17:28 (one year ago) link

inexplicable that he wouldn't give Toti or Mosquera a start at centre back, i think it's a sign he's lost his nerve and it shows thru the whole team imo

welp, this might be Bruno's last game in charge and fair enough if it is

Stop, stop, they're already dead

Haaland 13 goals in 8.5 matches

Jfc

stank viola (Neanderthal), Sunday, 2 October 2022 13:54 (one year ago) link

It isn't as if the squad was easy to defend prior to his arrival, he makes it nigh impossible

stank viola (Neanderthal), Sunday, 2 October 2022 13:55 (one year ago) link

7.5 matches

i'm generally mr patient but we've been clueless for some time

saigo no ice cream (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 2 October 2022 15:07 (one year ago) link

Getting the heave ho before Gerrard and Rodgers though...

Fronted by a bearded Phil Collins (Tom D.), Sunday, 2 October 2022 15:29 (one year ago) link

Agreed,Lage seemed lost

stank viola (Neanderthal), Sunday, 2 October 2022 16:21 (one year ago) link

i mean Lage had accumulated less good will than Rodgers, and Gerrard is a vanity project anyway, so i wouldn't have guessed this at the start of the season but the accumulation of "not quite clicking" has gotten too much and yesterday was pretty woeful in most respects as far as tactics and selection were concerned. glad they've acted quickly to move on, i'd still like to think we've got a tasty squad if they're better managed

saigo no ice cream (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 2 October 2022 16:54 (one year ago) link

Who's available?

stank viola (Neanderthal), Sunday, 2 October 2022 16:56 (one year ago) link

there's the question. lot of talk about Lopetegui but i don't see that happening at this point in the season

saigo no ice cream (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 2 October 2022 17:06 (one year ago) link

if prayer has any power at all that's not happening

saigo no ice cream (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 2 October 2022 18:21 (one year ago) link

Rúben Amorim went 5/4 fav in the last hour on skybet, with all the usual caveats about next manager betting

calzino, Sunday, 2 October 2022 18:32 (one year ago) link

well he went from 7/4 to 5/4

calzino, Sunday, 2 October 2022 18:34 (one year ago) link

Lopetegui looking increasingly possible, cautiously pleased with this

saigo no ice cream (Noodle Vague), Thursday, 6 October 2022 12:30 (one year ago) link

Neto out for months again, ffs

saigo no ice cream (Noodle Vague), Friday, 7 October 2022 09:28 (one year ago) link

Lopetegui would be a coup. I see Villas-Boas mooted, I thought he went off sailing around the world years ago and never came back

Would you take Dyche? I think he's unfairly lumped in with that "I'm British me" thing

anvil, Friday, 7 October 2022 10:33 (one year ago) link

i really really wouldn't want Dyche but once an appointment's made you have to give them a chance. incredibly unlikely that it'll happen tho, i think it's just bookie talk, as i assume AVB is. everything seems to have fallen into place for Lopetegui to happen so i'll be mildly shocked now if he doesn't

saigo no ice cream (Noodle Vague), Friday, 7 October 2022 10:38 (one year ago) link

Dyche is a frequent placeholder in next manager betting, he was in the betting for next HTAFC manager and he 100% was not interviewed for it! I doubt he's in such a hurry for another job while Burnley are still paying him. But it still causes equal amounts of dread and also some enthusiasm amongst football fans!

calzino, Friday, 7 October 2022 12:55 (one year ago) link

Steve Cooper: Nottingham Forest manager signs new deal until 2025

he might just last longer than Slaven Bilic, but probably only just by days

calzino, Friday, 7 October 2022 13:19 (one year ago) link

Matheus really showing what he's got there

saigo no ice cream (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 8 October 2022 14:26 (one year ago) link

That was a hell of a dribble.

Be nice if we could keep the ball for more than 15 seconds
