I re-upped for the next couple months to watch Interview and Snowpiercer (when it drops in July)

new Claudia actress pretty good! same intensity, zero chill, no notes

also i need to state for the record what a genius bit of casting it has been for this series to have fuckin BOGOSIAN THA GOD as the interviewer

he grounds the whole thing so well with the epic sarcasm & eye rolls & just (stares, Bogosianly)

it really helps it play for a modern audience along with the story/character changes

I did not expect this to be so funny. Lestat breaking the priests' legs to fit them in the crypt lol

I loved that bit where Santiago is snooping around Louis's pseudo-arty photography with a withering look on his face and he spits "wanker!". Ben Daniels has been excellent in S2.

it's kind of funny because he's much more pretentious than Louis but that's just the kind of nasty hypocrite he is.

i love how this show continues to color between the lines of the actual story so well… the Armand of this flashback episode is so good!

also loved Bogosian meta-mocking the interviewer’s “and then what?”

the trial-by-circus ep was so good

yeah trial episode was a+

love how well they’ve made Lestat/Louis/Armand feel like relationships, the weight of everything they survive feels so real, way more than even Rice did. It’s so fucking good.
