Anything with Diane Morgan doing the voiceover.

is that who it is doing the baby voice on e.g. the Cadbury's ice cream ads? because hell yes it's murder-inducing

Verisure seem to have changed tack with more professional adverts with proper actors - well, a red haired Irish woman who I recognize but who is not the red haired Irish woman sitting on the bog in an incontinence pad advert.

Advertisers love red hair.

feel like there was a time when this lady was in every other ad on UK TV, but I've seen less of her recently

there was also a period where there were a lot of ads featuring the nerdy guy from PhoneShop (whose dad was Mr Bennett the caretaker in Take Hart and also wrote the second series of Captain Zep - Space Detective)

i thought verisure woman was old RobotWars woman. although given that she was on strictly and has the morning breakfast show on virgin radio i'm surprised verisure can afford her. (angela scanlon)

I'm sure it's her and I'd noticed the change in production values although the script itself is still weird and unpleasant

Confused.com smug whistlers can get to fuck.

Ah right, Angela Scanlon, I knew I recognized her. I don't want to seem like I've got something against Irish women but I really hate those Fairy washing powder (I think) adverts with the glamorous blonde Irish woman and her fake baby, there's something incredibly smug about her.

they edited those down as well i think. 'always close with a click-clack' is now missing the '-clack'
always keep away from children.

i assumed those Fairy ads are some kind of Instagram/ influencer woman because of how unnatural she is, but obviously not bothered enough to Google it

Yeah, her name is Vogue Williams. She and Joanne McNally off Taskmaster have a podcast called My Therapist Ghosted Me, which is insanely popular among basic bitches.

I noticed that too. I'm guessing it's because the packs are made of cardboard now, so they don't make that noise anymore.

I think I was at school with a girl called Joanne McNally... or Joanna.

the shell advert annoys me more for the greenwashing aspect than the robot aspect. and the last shot where the bed covers close in from both sides with an obvious join in the middle and then cut to a shot with no join. it felt like it was shown in every single ad break i saw yesterday.

This isn't actually a terrible advert but every single time it comes on I think he says "I am disabled" at the start.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBpGIQDF2s8

Plus, I don't suffer from arachnophobia but I have known someone who does, so I shudder to think what would happen if, by accident, she saw the advert with the tarantula crawling about a bald guy's head.

All Clear travel insurance copying the security alarms / apprentice pattern in their tv ads, i notice. the only interesting thing they have going for them is that they've filmed the same ad twice with the gender roles reversed.
seems that the venn diagram for coin collectors and fans of WWII has a huge overlap.
