I say maybe, but that looks like exactly the same piece of wall to me.

that makes total sense - we did eventually get to Greece (I had my 8th birthday in Athens)

and bingo! thanks for spotting that - I found the spot at 4:28 into this video. There's more trees now and it looks like the walls of Palamidi Fortress have been given a good cleaning.

I broke into that fortress once! Interrailing round Europe with friends in 1993 we were staying in Nafplio, after visiting the town we planned to visit the fortress on the way back to our hostel, which was on the other side, but after climbing all the way up the hill we found the fortress was closed. So we climbed up a 12ft wall, walked through it and out the other side.
