whatever happened to Frankie

Monsieur Queueue (Mr. Que), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 18:52 (fourteen years ago) link

would eat that pizza

goole, Wednesday, 9 September 2009 18:52 (fourteen years ago) link

There are actually a few places in San Francisco that make indian pizza ... I am not a fan.

what happened? i am confused. (sarahel), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 18:53 (fourteen years ago) link

and yeah, i am a hardman. on the internet. :(

this is one of the best posts ever <3 bro

erm he basically got really scarily thin and had a haircut and is shortly off to university where his life will be chaotic

that pizza wasn't inedible but it certainly wasn't the priceless bijou of culinary perfection i'd been led to believe it was. in fact it was *incredibly* un-pizza-like...that was what got me

kevision questler (country matters), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 18:54 (fourteen years ago) link

yeah, the indian pizzas I've had are not pizza-like, but they are sufficiently non-indian-food-like to be this not-very-good thing. It's kinda like some movies that include a lot of things that I would like, but combined are unsastifying and actually annoying.

what happened? i am confused. (sarahel), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 18:57 (fourteen years ago) link

see LJ from what you have said on here about pizza before, i would assume that "incredibly un-pizza-like" would connote things like "made of basalt" or "stuffed with newspaper"

A DOG, A BARREL... RIDICULOUS! (jjjusten), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 18:59 (fourteen years ago) link

sarahel otm

jjjusten looooooool

kevision questler (country matters), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 19:00 (fourteen years ago) link

i had indian SF pizza once, it ruled hardcore. i mean it took down my elephant hunger down hardcore. . . damn

Monsieur Queueue (Mr. Que), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 19:00 (fourteen years ago) link

there was no curry though--that's just wrong

Monsieur Queueue (Mr. Que), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 19:01 (fourteen years ago) link

sorry Mr Que but I'd rather eat totino's microwaveable pizza rolls than another of those indian pizzas.

what happened? i am confused. (sarahel), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 19:04 (fourteen years ago) link

well but that is because totinos pizza rolls are awesome as long as you think of them as not related to actual pizza

A DOG, A BARREL... RIDICULOUS! (jjjusten), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 19:25 (fourteen years ago) link

i like to think of them as standard size hot pockets and myself as a giant

A DOG, A BARREL... RIDICULOUS! (jjjusten), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 19:26 (fourteen years ago) link

totinos pizza rolls are actually my favorite thing to eat when drunk.

what happened? i am confused. (sarahel), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 19:38 (fourteen years ago) link

i can never wait for them to cool & burn my mouth.

ian, Wednesday, 9 September 2009 19:41 (fourteen years ago) link

every goddamn time.

ian, Wednesday, 9 September 2009 19:42 (fourteen years ago) link

seriously, same here.

what happened? i am confused. (sarahel), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 19:44 (fourteen years ago) link

PROTIP: giant strategy also awesome when eating broccoli, or should i say tiny trees.

A DOG, A BARREL... RIDICULOUS! (jjjusten), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 19:48 (fourteen years ago) link

pizza rolls as hot pockets will throw off the scale tho so do not combine in same meal lest you induce vertigo

A DOG, A BARREL... RIDICULOUS! (jjjusten), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 19:48 (fourteen years ago) link

what about pizza pockets

Monsieur Queueue (Mr. Que), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 19:49 (fourteen years ago) link

what about them?

A DOG, A BARREL... RIDICULOUS! (jjjusten), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 19:50 (fourteen years ago) link

they have no real application to my giant world view, so

A DOG, A BARREL... RIDICULOUS! (jjjusten), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 19:50 (fourteen years ago) link

maybe i could work them in as a tribute raised by the terrified villagers to sate my gigantic hunger tho

A DOG, A BARREL... RIDICULOUS! (jjjusten), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 19:51 (fourteen years ago) link

no i mean, what happens when you put on your pants and discover pizza in your pockets

Monsieur Queueue (Mr. Que), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 19:56 (fourteen years ago) link

what then Mr. man

Monsieur Queueue (Mr. Que), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 19:56 (fourteen years ago) link

ergo "pizza pockets"

Monsieur Queueue (Mr. Que), Wednesday, 9 September 2009 19:56 (fourteen years ago) link

you could be a benevolent giant who helps construct enormous public works projects, including a huge oven, and in symbiotic fashion, the villagers occasionally bake you a great pile of sausage and cheese in a rolled up sheet of flat bread.

goole, Wednesday, 9 September 2009 19:56 (fourteen years ago) link

i like your thinking here

que this is not the thread for ridiculous counterfactual ideas

one year passes...

i have the house to myself for the next 4 days, would appreciate advice

acoleuthic, Thursday, 9 September 2010 15:21 (thirteen years ago) link

- tell some of the cool kids in school
- get a keg
- make sure there are fragile/valuable objects throughout the house

iatee, Thursday, 9 September 2010 15:24 (thirteen years ago) link

am having a polite gathering tomorrow night but am worried it might be too polite

although I *am* cooking so it's liable to turn impolite at any point

Tom A. (Tom B.) (Tom C.) (Tom D.), Thursday, 9 September 2010 15:32 (thirteen years ago) link

oh my god, EVERYONE....uni people, old secondary school people...is going to Bestival. Dressing up, having the freakin' time of their lives, drugs...

Davek (davek_00), Thursday, 9 September 2010 15:32 (thirteen years ago) link

i don't think i'd enjoy bestival.

acoleuthic, Thursday, 9 September 2010 15:34 (thirteen years ago) link

Bestival usually has good lineups but looks a bit orgafun what with the themed dressing up nights.

Matt DC, Thursday, 9 September 2010 15:35 (thirteen years ago) link

I am overdue going to a good festival actually....I would go to ATP if someone good was curating or if they had lots of dance music.

Davek (davek_00), Thursday, 9 September 2010 15:37 (thirteen years ago) link

yeah i mean that shit can be cool in certain environments but it seems a bit contrived

plus i'm only going to a music festival ever if i know i'm with awesome people on my wavelength - would be quite alienating otherwise. although maybe quite peaceful, roaming tent to tent, soaking up the different ambiences.

acoleuthic, Thursday, 9 September 2010 15:38 (thirteen years ago) link

It's a shame really, you could take an iphone and turn this thread into LJ liveblogging his first ecstacy experience.

Matt DC, Thursday, 9 September 2010 15:39 (thirteen years ago) link

yeah drop some acid and post away

it never ceases to amaze me that anyone is prepared to take a chance on the english weather by going to a camping festival in SEPTEMBER

لوووووووووووووووووووول (lex pretend), Thursday, 9 September 2010 15:42 (thirteen years ago) link

if i ever wake up in a tent it will be a sure sign that the apocalypse has happened, especially in SEPTEMBER

لوووووووووووووووووووول (lex pretend), Thursday, 9 September 2010 15:43 (thirteen years ago) link

Offset is even later! I went to that last year, it was pretty good fun, although crucially I came home both nights

acoleuthic, Thursday, 9 September 2010 15:43 (thirteen years ago) link

Tonight, of course, I'm going to the first Ultrasound gig in ten years. Bestival, kiss my ass.
