erm he basically got really scarily thin and had a haircut and is shortly off to university where his life will be chaotic

that pizza wasn't inedible but it certainly wasn't the priceless bijou of culinary perfection i'd been led to believe it was. in fact it was *incredibly* un-pizza-like...that was what got me

yeah, the indian pizzas I've had are not pizza-like, but they are sufficiently non-indian-food-like to be this not-very-good thing. It's kinda like some movies that include a lot of things that I would like, but combined are unsastifying and actually annoying.

see LJ from what you have said on here about pizza before, i would assume that "incredibly un-pizza-like" would connote things like "made of basalt" or "stuffed with newspaper"

well but that is because totinos pizza rolls are awesome as long as you think of them as not related to actual pizza

i like to think of them as standard size hot pockets and myself as a giant

totinos pizza rolls are actually my favorite thing to eat when drunk.

i don't think i'd enjoy bestival.

Bestival usually has good lineups but looks a bit orgafun what with the themed dressing up nights.

I am overdue going to a good festival actually....I would go to ATP if someone good was curating or if they had lots of dance music.

yeah i mean that shit can be cool in certain environments but it seems a bit contrived

plus i'm only going to a music festival ever if i know i'm with awesome people on my wavelength - would be quite alienating otherwise. although maybe quite peaceful, roaming tent to tent, soaking up the different ambiences.

It's a shame really, you could take an iphone and turn this thread into LJ liveblogging his first ecstacy experience.

it never ceases to amaze me that anyone is prepared to take a chance on the english weather by going to a camping festival in SEPTEMBER

if i ever wake up in a tent it will be a sure sign that the apocalypse has happened, especially in SEPTEMBER

Offset is even later! I went to that last year, it was pretty good fun, although crucially I came home both nights
