To keep my ass from occasionally going numb (and consequently turning to jello), I flex it every so often. It makes me feel...saucy.

battlin' green eyeshades (Homosexual II), Friday, 15 October 2004 19:26 (nineteen years ago) link

nickalicious (nickalicious), Friday, 15 October 2004 19:42 (nineteen years ago) link

So, I have this gig in another town tomorrow morning. They're providing a hotel room for tonight so my band is just going up to Oshkosh to get wrecked in small-town college bars tonight. It's strange & wonderful.

Jordan (Jordan), Friday, 15 October 2004 19:47 (nineteen years ago) link

That's pretty awesome. And rare.

n/a (Nick A.), Friday, 15 October 2004 19:56 (nineteen years ago) link

Lit up the shack

Leapin up into the air gettin juiced up beyond belief

Nowell, Friday, 15 October 2004 20:37 (nineteen years ago) link

Okay, who's still at work? Tell me I'm not the only one. I hate being on the West Coast sometimes.

adam. (nordicskilla), Friday, 15 October 2004 20:41 (nineteen years ago) link

Me...for 10 more minutes.

n/a (Nick A.), Friday, 15 October 2004 20:48 (nineteen years ago) link

battlin' green eyeshades (Homosexual II), Friday, 15 October 2004 20:48 (nineteen years ago) link

2 hours and 39 minutes.

luna (luna.c), Friday, 15 October 2004 20:50 (nineteen years ago) link

5 min. and I have a bad feeling I'm going to get in an accident on the way home due to 40,000 drunk already students, ESPN people, and homecoming crowds. I hate you Big Ten school!

jocelyn (Jocelyn), Friday, 15 October 2004 20:55 (nineteen years ago) link

I've technically put it my time today, but I'm still here finishing up some things.

Jordan (Jordan), Friday, 15 October 2004 21:00 (nineteen years ago) link

They better be JAZZ things!

adam. (nordicskilla), Friday, 15 October 2004 21:08 (nineteen years ago) link

Reading the first bit of this thread is like looking back into a different world.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Friday, 15 October 2004 22:24 (nineteen years ago) link

four weeks pass...
I miss the regular occurrence of this thread, and I need to fritter even though I'm very busy.

Jordan (Jordan), Friday, 12 November 2004 22:34 (nineteen years ago) link

I'd like to eat a fritter right now. An apple one, maybe.

Jordan (Jordan), Friday, 12 November 2004 22:35 (nineteen years ago) link

I am still "at work".

Michael White (Hereward), Friday, 12 November 2004 22:36 (nineteen years ago) link

My sister worked to register voters in Wisconsin and she told me about how W came to speak and had a photo op at some diner place and he ordered two apple fritters, and when they came out they were each like the size of a dinner plate and it was funny because it was our president with TWO GIANT APPLE FRITTERS.

n/a (Nick A.), Friday, 12 November 2004 22:37 (nineteen years ago) link

Also, we are MEN AT WORK.

n/a (Nick A.), Friday, 12 November 2004 22:37 (nineteen years ago) link

I have done no work at all today. Seriously. None. I haven't even read any good articles.

I made mix CDs.

Kenan (kenan), Friday, 12 November 2004 22:40 (nineteen years ago) link

!

luna (luna.c), Friday, 12 November 2004 22:41 (nineteen years ago) link

And I'm leaving a little early. I'll see you tonight.

Kenan (kenan), Friday, 12 November 2004 22:41 (nineteen years ago) link

MEN AT WORK WITHOUT HATS.

I have actually done work today, which is unusual, but I am still freaking out about a deadline that is three weeks away.

Of course, starting in about an hour I will be a relaxed musician for the rest of the weekend.

Jordan (Jordan), Friday, 12 November 2004 22:43 (nineteen years ago) link

i'd die for some vegetable fritters from Strelka!
!

planescapin' 'til dawn (Homosexual II), Friday, 12 November 2004 22:44 (nineteen years ago) link

TWO GIANT APPLE FRITTERS.

That figures, it was in Wausau. Although it could have been in Janesville.

Some co-workers of mine were in Wausau around the same time doing work in a hospital, and they brought in THE WHITE PHONE, i.e. the hotline to the White House just in case Dubya choked on his fritters.

Jordan (Jordan), Friday, 12 November 2004 22:44 (nineteen years ago) link

I've seen you fritter away
slow as a glacier makes its way down to the Rhine

three months pass...
I'm bored. What is ILE doing at the weekend, then?

Matt DC (Matt DC), Friday, 25 February 2005 16:38 (nineteen years ago) link

Half-hour, 6 hours - what's the difference?

This weekend = Wes Craven werewolves (I think) & medium well cow flesh.

David R. (popshots75`), Friday, 25 February 2005 16:42 (nineteen years ago) link

20 minutes...i've done nothing but listen to dead meadow albums today and my head is spinning.

Chris 'The Nuts' V (Chris V), Friday, 25 February 2005 16:48 (nineteen years ago) link

10 minutes to go. I'm off to a birthday party tonight. Woo!

caitlin (caitlin), Friday, 25 February 2005 16:50 (nineteen years ago) link

Six hours to go. This weekend: cleaning the apartment and watching horror movies w/girlfriend (Uzumaki, White Zombie, etc.).

Jordan (Jordan), Friday, 25 February 2005 17:10 (nineteen years ago) link

Going to the theatre tonight, watching some rugby. That's it.

Markelby (Mark C), Friday, 25 February 2005 17:10 (nineteen years ago) link

I'm going to Hounslow.

jel -- (jel), Friday, 25 February 2005 17:13 (nineteen years ago) link

4 hours 5 min. to go: Going out for burgers & beer, then going bowling (which I am horrible at) before my friend moves to Japan for 2 years.

jocelyn (Jocelyn), Friday, 25 February 2005 17:56 (nineteen years ago) link

I just senselessly frittered away 20 mins playing online poker staggeringly well, albeit with pretend money. I now have a ridiculously high opinion of my skeelz, which will no doubt result in BIG LAFFS next time I try to play the game for ca$h.

Markelby (Mark C), Friday, 25 February 2005 17:58 (nineteen years ago) link

I have to move this weekend. I am looking forward to it, yet not. It's going to be a lot of work.

I have fritttered away most of the morning already.

jill schoelen is the queen of my dreams! (Homosexual II), Friday, 25 February 2005 18:02 (nineteen years ago) link

Nothing at all, unless reading ILX and watching TV counts.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Friday, 25 February 2005 19:50 (nineteen years ago) link

Mandee, are you moving moving or just moving apts?

jocelyn (Jocelyn), Friday, 25 February 2005 20:52 (nineteen years ago) link

I've had enough of work for this week. I need to find a way to look busy for the next 50 minutes.

Thermo Thinwall (Thermo Thinwall), Friday, 25 February 2005 21:15 (nineteen years ago) link

I am way under my frittering quota for the day. I like being busy, but not... now.
