The first two weeks of the season, P&R has been my favorite out of NBC's Thu night run. Makes sense it's on the block I guess... shit I think is funny usually gets canceled. What else would they put in its place, though? Another crapfest like Kath & Kim?

I would/will watch Amy Poehler in basically anything and sometimes I find P&R amusing, but it's sooo *slight* - sorta on purpose, I guess. It's just impossible to imagine this show getting the type of fanbase that it would take to stay on air. even if it were really funny!

The second episode this season was the best episode of this show so far.

It would benefit by being sandwiched between The Office and 30 Rock, but that would require them moving The Office to 8 and 30 Rock to 9... which actually would be a pretty great idea, leaving Community at 9:30. Of course, NBC won't move The Office out of the 9pm slot.

chris pratt's character's development (or de-evolution) is my favorite part of the show

The shot where they cut to him and he's standing knee-deep in the pit and munching on a carrot absolutely slayed me.

it's been hit or miss till this weeks but this was the best one yet. Aziz keeps stealing it though with his shirts. The gay one last week and the monogrammed one this week.

As someone pointed out on the Community thread, how did Chris Pratt become one of the best things on the show? Definitely agree that the show's getting better week to week, and Louis C.K. seems like a good addition.

I always liked Chris Pratt on Everwood, but didn't realize he could be so funny and weird.

Watching the episode this week, I was thinking about that guy living in the pit and what would he do it it rained and then I got the answer. The ex-boyfriend living in a pup tent in a big construction hole across the street is up with weird like the guy having to climb a pole to make a phone call in Green Acres. I kind of like it and think they could just make a show about the guy in the pit and forget the other stuff.

He was the best thing about the show last season! I wasn't going to watch S2 until I heard they'd made him a regular character.

lol. reminds of the plans they had for the 3rd season of 'get a life' which never got made. chris elliott was going to be a homeless drifter, after living w/ his parents in season 1 and with gus in season 2

so i'd only seen the pilot up until last night, and dang this show has improved. still feels office-y in its format, but the characters are actually distinct and funny.
whereas watched the office wedding episode(s) and am just sort of bored with their stupid schtick now
