Sigh. You lucky basterds! I've seen one of those, though: Guy Maddin's The Forbidden Room. It's definitely one-of-a-kind, but in a very exhausting way. Not that good.

Jia up first for me on Monday night, unless i walk up for something.

Mountains May Depart not as startling as Touch of Sin, but its own peculiar thing, a must-see. Teenage dork character in the third segment (set in 2025) and slightly stilted patches of English dialogue gave me a few problems, but great last scene too. Stella Dallas + Giant - oil + Google Translate?

Zhao Tao and Jia did a Q&A, he was dispirited and alienated in finding kids in Fenyang no longer understood his dialect. Zhao Tao spoke mainly about playing three different ages.
